WE THE PEOPLE
A celebration of the Bicentennial of
the United States Constitution. This 50
poster exhibit helps people around the
world better understand the American
Constitution and the foundations of our
government. The exhibit emphasizes the
8 fundamental principles embodied in the
Constitution and traces their antecedents
and development from 1787 through
present day.
Translated into 4 languages
(English, French, Spanish, Arabic) it
expands and personalizes its
effectiveness and extends its longevity.
The exhibit is distributed to over 158
capitals and major cities worldwide and
will be used during the bicentennial period.
Modular in nature, the posters (each
20"x31") may be organized to fit various
spaces and provide a background for
speakers as well as topical discussions.
The exhibit is divided into 5 specific
sections: Antecedents, events and
principals leading to the Constitution;
the Eight Fundamental Principles
embodied in a Constitutional landscape;
and events from 1787 to the present that
led to the laws that safeguard our values.
